Welcome Event at 22WSN

On September 13th 2010, Straus Institute Director Professor J.H.H. Weiler along with NYU Law School’s Dean Richard Revesz, officially celebrated the start of the academic years of both The Straus Institute and The Tikvah Center, and welcomed them to their home in the townhouse at 22 Washington Square North. The fellows of both the Centers, as well as the Jean Monnet Center, Tikvah Scholars and NYU Law’s current JSD students were in attendance. High hopes were espoused by all as they cast their sights on the groundbreaking and innovative academic achievements they knew would flow forth from the attendant fellows in the months to come.
On Sunday September 26th 2010 Professor Weiler welcomed all the building residents to a barbeque at his home in Riverdale for a continuation of the welcoming celebrations.
